GBA – Mr. Driller 2

MR. DRILLER 2 for the Game Boy Advance harkens back to the simple puzzle games of DIG DUG and DR. MARIO in its ability to completely enthrall the player by using both the digging and matching components of both of these predecessors in new and interesting ways. Namco Hometek has mixed the two concepts in a way that will thrill old-school gamers and challenge new players. The player will encounter several types of blocks while playing this game: normal, pastel blocks; crystal blocks, which dissolve after flashing; brown x-blocks, which take away 20% of a players air supply when tapped; silver x-blocks, which cannot be penetrated; and air supply capsules. In MR. DRILLER 2, players can choose to play as either the original Mr. Driller Susumu or his new rival, Anna Hottenmayer, in three different modes: Mission Driller, Endless Driller, or Time Attack Driller. In Mission Driller, you must find your way through the blocks in varying levels of difficulty. In Endless Driller, the stack of blocks goes on as long as your can keep your air supply up, and in Time Attack Driller, you must try to get to the bottom of the provided stack before your time, rather than air, runs out. Players can also go head to head using the Game Boy Advance Game Link cable.Nostalgic gamers will enjoy reminiscing of games past with MR.
